Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) in the United States. The company silently unveiled the tablet last month by listing it on the brand’s official website for Romania, and a week later, it launched the device in the United Kingdom. The US is the third country to get it. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is the 2024 version and the third generation of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite that came out in 2020. There was also the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022), the 2022 version, and the second generation of the tablet.

Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) price and availability details for the US

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) in two memory configurations in the US, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. The 64GB storage variant costs USD 329 and the 128GB storage model costs USD 399. Both memory configurations are available in three colors: Chiffon Pink, Mint, and Oxford Gray.

The company has made the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) available to purchase in the country exclusively through Amazon, and the e-commerce platform is offering an Amazon Gift Card of USD 100 with the tablet, bringing down the effective price of the 4GB+64GB variant to USD 229 and of the 4GB+128GB variant to USD 299.

Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) specifications

Compared to the first generation of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, the 2024 model has only two differences, a newer and faster processor (Exynos 9611 vs Exynos 1280) and faster connectivity options (Bluetooth 5.0 vs Bluetooth 5.3). Compared to the second generation of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite too, the 2024 model has two differences, a newer but slower processor (Snapdragon 720G/732G vs Exynos 1280) and faster connectivity options (Bluetooth 5.0 vs Bluetooth 5.3). Let’s take a look at other specifications of the tablet.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) has a 10.4-inch LCD with a 2,000 x 1,200 pixels resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. As mentioned earlier, it features the Exynos 1280 SoC and is available globally with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Surprisingly, it comes with Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box.

The tablet has an 8MP camera at the rear and a 5MP camera at the front. Both cameras can record videos at up to Full HD resolution and 30 frames per second. It packs a 7,040mAh battery with support for 15W charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There are two speakers onboard in the stereo configuration and you get an S-Pen in the box.
