Samsung’s Galaxy S25 is one of the very few smartphones in the market that have a compact footprint yet pack high-end hardware. Soon, it will have a competitor from Google, the Pixel 10, and it may lack a very important feature that the one from the South Korean tech giant offers: a vapor chamber for chipset cooling, That could result in Pixel 10 having inferior sustained performance.
According to Android Headlines, the base model in Google’s upcoming lineup of phones, the Pixel 10 series, will not have a vapour chamber. The phone is expected to feature the Tensor G5, a flagship-grade processor. Considering that it is very powerful, it may also generate quite a lot of heat. With Pixel 10 lacking a vapor chamber to contain the heat, the chipset may throttle, hampering sustained performance.
The only hope for the Pixel 10 to perform well is that the Tensor G5 chipset runs cool. Fortunately, that’s not the case with the Galaxy S25. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset is very powerful, and the phone manages to extract all its performance thanks to its vapor chamber keeping the heat in check.
If you are looking for a compact smartphone that doesn’t compromise on performance, the Galaxy S25 may be a better option for you compared to the Pixel 10. The best part is that it's already available for purchase – just hit the button below to get it.
