Samsung has released the stable version of One UI 8.5 (Android 16) for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
At the moment, the company is rolling out the update in South Korea. The update carries the build number CZDP. A wider rollout in other countries will hopefully follow soon.
Usually, when Samsung opens a beta program for a new version of One UI, it releases four to five beta builds over a period of two to three months before rolling out the stable version. However, that wasn’t the case with the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung opened the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 lineup in December 2025 and rolled out ten beta builds over the course of five months before finally ending the beta phase and releasing the stable version.
One UI 8.5 is based on Android 16 QPR2 and brings a wide range of changes, including a redesigned user interface that looks cleaner and more refined while also offering more customization options. The new software also introduces many additional features. You can check them all out in our video below.
