But which markets are those, exactly? Well, according to Samsung, the beta is debuting in Germany, Korea, and the USA. The company says it will expand availability to more markets but doesn't mention their names, so this is where we have to turn to some guesswork.
Judging by beta programs for older versions of One UI and Android for Galaxy devices, we can assume that the One UI 5.0 beta will also make its way to India, Poland, China, and the UK. Again, this is just guesswork, but we're likely to be right going by the precedents established by Samsung previously.
We can also use those precedents to guess when the countries mentioned above will get the One UI 5.0 beta: the beta should make its way to all eligible countries before the end of this month. However, it's hard to say when the final/stable Android 13 and One UI 5.0 update will be released for the Galaxy S22 series, much less all the other Galaxy devices that are in line to get the update.
That's because beta software goes through a lot of iterations before it reaches stable status, and the same will apply to One UI 5.0 for the Galaxy S22 series, with Samsung expected to release multiple beta builds before the stable version starts rolling out. We'll keep you posted as we get new information and new Galaxy S22 One UI 5.0 beta firmware comes out, so be sure to keep checking back in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, see the video below to check out more than 15 features that your Galaxy S22 smartphone will pick up with Android 13 and One UI 5.0.
