After teasing it a few days ago, Samsung has launched the Galaxy F13 in India. It is a variant of the Galaxy M13 that was launched in Europe a few weeks ago. The Galaxy F13 comes with the same design and chipset but offers a bigger battery and takes away the high-refresh-rate screen.
Galaxy F13 specifications include a 6.6-inch display, 6,000mAh battery
The Galaxy F13 has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD Infinity-V display with Full HD+ resolution and 480 nits peak brightness. Unlike the Galaxy M13, which has a 90Hz refresh rate, the Galaxy F13 uses the standard 60Hz screen. The phone runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1. With the Auto Data Switching feature, the Galaxy F13 can automatically switch between SIM 1 and SIM 2 during voice calls or low network reception.
The smartphone comes equipped with the Exynos 850 chipset, 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot (up to 1TB). With the RAM Plus feature, you can add 4GB of virtual RAM to the existing 4GB RAM for a total of 8GB of memory for better multitasking. The phone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery and supports up to 15W fast charging.
The Galaxy F13 has an 8MP front-facing camera. It has a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear. It can record Full HD videos at 30fps. The phone has GPS, 4G, dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Galaxy F13 pricing starts at INR 11,999 in India
Samsung will sell the Galaxy F13 in three colors—Nightsky Green, Sunrise Copper, and Waterfall Blue—starting June 29, 2022. The phone can be purchased through Flipkart, Samsung.com, and select retail stores. The 64GB variant is priced at INR 11,999 and the 128GB variant costs INR 12,999.
