Galaxy Enhance-X received new features and a UI redesign for One UI 6 through an update that was rolled out a couple of weeks ago. With One UI 6, Samsung is also extending support for the Galaxy Enhance-X app to Galaxy A smartphones, starting with the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A54.
With the Galaxy A54 being updated to Android 14/One UI over the last few days in some markets, owners of the device should now be able to take the Galaxy Enhance-X app for a spin by downloading it from the Galaxy Store. However, the app could take some time to become accessible to everyone even if their Galaxy A54 is already running Android 14, so be sure to check again later if you can't find it in Samsung's app store right away.
Galaxy Enhance-X uses the power of AI to enhance pictures and comes with some fancy features. Those include Sky Guide for identifying constellations, galaxies, and more in photos of the night sky, the option to add a long-exposure effect to short videos, applying Single Take to existing videos, and reducing the noise in pictures to improve quality. Galaxy Enhance-X can also automatically enhance photos with a single tap.
Galaxy A53 owners will be able to download Galaxy Enhance-X once their phone receives the One UI 6 update, which could happen soon as Samsung has been bringing the latest version of Android and One UI to various devices at a lightning fast pace since November 20. The app may also be usable on the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A33, though Samsung hasn't officially confirmed that.
