Samsung has launched a new affordable laptop—Galaxy Book 3 Go—featuring the Windows 11 operating system and 5G connectivity. It is a successor to the Galaxy Book 2 Go, which was launched last year, and has the same Snapdragon processor that powers the newer model. It isn't clear what new features the Galaxy Book 3 Go brings compared to its predecessor. From what we can tell, it is just a repackaged Galaxy Book 2 Go, and has been launched to complete the Galaxy Book 3 lineup.

The Galaxy Book 3 Go is priced at KRW 557,700 ($430) in South Korea and will be available from January 2, 2023, through the Samsung Store (online and offline) and three mobile network carriers (KT, LG Uplus, and SKT). The laptop is designed for students and as a secondary laptop for office goers.

It uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 processor, featuring four Cortex-A78 CPU cores, four Cortex-A55 CPU cores, and an Adreno GPU. This chipset is fabricated using TSMC's 6nm process. The laptop has 4GB LPDRRx RAM, 128GB eUFS storage, and a microSD card slot. It runs Windows 11 Home and comes with several Galaxy ecosystem features, including Buds Auto Switch, Multi Control, Second Screen, and Quick Share.

It also features 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connectivity. Wired connectivity options include one USB Type-A port, two USB Type-C ports, and a headphone+mic combo jack with a 3.5mm connector. The Galaxy Book 3 Go is 15.5mm thin and weighs just 1.43kg. It features 45W fast charging and can last up to 8 hours after just 30 minutes of charging. It has dual 1.5W speakers in stereo mode.
