Samsung USA's growing support network is expanding further through a partnership with uBreakiFix. Today, the company announced that 50 uBreakiFix Stores will be designated flagship Samsung repair locations before the end of the year.

uBreakiFix became an authorized Samsung mobile repair provider in 2018. Now, Samsung announced that 50 of uBreakiFix's existing stores will get specialized equipment, parts inventory, and Samsung training to become repair locations for Galaxy devices in the USA before 2024.

To handle more repair volume, these 50 stores will be equipped with repair jigs and have an increased inventory stock by model and color. Samsung says these new uBreakiFix stores will even offer repair types not yet available at other uBreakiFix locations.

Same-day repair services in more locations across the USA

94% of walk-in repairs performed on Galaxy flagship devices by uBreakiFix happen on the same day. Samsung says the ability to offer same-day repair services “has a direct impact on customer satisfaction.”

And in addition to these 50 repurposed service centers, Samsung and uBreakiFix will also meet customers wherever they are across the USA using more than 400 “We Come to You” vans.

uBreakiFix offers repair services for Galaxy smartphones, and beginning last year, Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5 smartwatches and all Galaxy Buds wireless earbud models. Customers can also benefit from service on Chromebooks, Samsung PCs, and foldable display protectors.

Earlier this year, Samsung revealed its care network in the USA is supported by more than 10,000 certified repair technicians. And, at that time, the service network included over 700 uBreakiFix locations.

Samsung’s product naming has a grammar problem

I'm a big fan of Samsung using proper nouns to label most of its home electronics. For instance, PC monitors names are no longer just a string of seemingly random letters and numbers. Instead, they belong to lineups named ‘Odyssey' or ‘ViewFinity.' It makes Samsung look better instead of coming across as a company that […]
