Black Friday officially starts in four days, but as we've seen already, Samsung's been launching attractive deals and discounts for Galaxy mobile devices and TVs for over a week. We're in the final stretch, and today, we're checking out Samsung's Black Friday deal on the Odyssey OLED G9 gaming monitor.

This week, Samsung is cutting 33%, or $600, off its 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9 G95S monitor. While it usually costs $1,799, you can now buy the Odyssey OLED G9 for $1,199.

Alternatively, if you'd rather pay for the monitor through Samsung Financing, you're looking at 36 monthly installments of $33,33 each.

Odyssey OLED G9 specs

Samsung has proudly declared that the Odyssey OLED G9 is the world's 1st 49-inch curved OLED monitor. And the company is not wrong. But what other specs can you expect, precisely?

The Odyssey OLED G9 has a dual QHD resolution of 5210 x 1440. It supports a refresh rate of up to 240Hz with a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03ms and can top 250 nits of brightness, while DidplayHDR TrueBlack 400 prevents pixel light bleed.

The monitor is height adjustable and has a slim metal design. But perhaps one of its most striking characteristics is the 1800R curvature, which makes the Odyssey OLED G9 a great choice for sim players.

Other specs include FreeSync Premium Pro, Alexa, Bixby, TV Plus, SmartThings Hub, and Gaming Hub. The monitor has a DisplayPort (1.4), two HDMI 2.1 ports, and three USB 3.0 ports.
