Samsung's pre-order campaign for the Odyssey Ark concluded recently after kicking off at Gamescom 2022. What the company calls the “world's first 55-inch 4K rotating curved monitor” is now available in the United States via the company's website and select retail partners nationwide.

Prospective buyers are looking at a price tag of $3,499 for the Odyssey Ark. Customers can also choose to pay for the monitor in four $875 biweekly installments or through a 48-month payment plan ($72.92 a month). The price is fixed, but customers buying the curved monitor from Samsung.com can earn 2% back in rewards.

One of the best gaming monitors around

The Odyssey Ark is available in only one size, featuring a 55-inch UHD (3,840 x 2,160) panel. The display has a 1000R curvature, just like the Odyssey G9. However, it has a more traditional 16:9 aspect ratio instead of 32:9 ultrawide.

The 55-inch Odyssey Ark has a pivoting, rotating stand and can be used in portrait or landscape modes. The display features Multi View, which can split the viewing area into up to four separate screens. The monitor also has a Game Bar and ships with Samsung Gaming Hub, giving users access to several cloud-based gaming platforms.

Samsung's monitor is chock-full of features for gamers, and the versatile design makes it a great choice for different game genres, from complex simulators to board games that work best in portrait mode. Interested in buying one? Feel free to check the links below for more details.
