Samsung stole the spotlight at InfoComm 2023 and won seven awards. InfoComm 2023 is the largest audiovisual trade show in North America, and this year's event took place in Orlando, Florida, for two days starting June 14.

Samsung won over the crowd and earned seven awards across different categories for both products and its policies. Highlights include The Wall series, the company's outdoor LED signages, and Samsung's efforts toward sustainability. But mostly, the company caught everyone's attention thanks to its display technologies based on The Wall and its outdoor signage solutions. The awards are:

  • InfoComm 2023 Best of Show — Best of Show Award Winners: The Wall All-in-One IAB series
  • InfoComm 2023 Best of Show — Digital Signage: Samsung KMC-W 24-inch Kiosk with Windows OS
  • InfoComm 2023 Best of Show — Digital Signage: QxC Series Crystal UHD Signage
  • SNC Installation Awards — Most Innovative Collaboration Product: Interactive Display WAC Series
  • SNC Installation Awards — Most INnovative SUstainable Product Strategy: Samsung Environmental Strategy
  • Commercial Integrator BEST Awards — Audio/Video > Outdoor Displays: Outdoor LED Signage XHB Series
  • rAVe 2023 Reader's Choice Awards — Favorite Display Brand of 2023: Samsung

Samsung displays are all around us

Samsung's 263-inch The Wall screen bedazzled the crowd through its sheer size, ultrawide aspect ratio, and 8K resolution. The Wall was featured extensively at InfoComm 2023 in different scenarios, such as in an Automotive showroom and business meetings. Samsung even demonstrated how The Wall for Virtual Production allows studios to streamline content production by replacing green screens.

And, of course, Samsung displays power many indoor menu boards and kiosks. So even if you aren't a Samsung customer, you most likely have used or watched a Samsung display at one point or another. The company's display technologies are pretty much all around us, from restaurants to sports venues like Chase Center and Citi Field.

Samsung says its InfoComm 2023 performance reaffirmed its position “as a commercial display market leader.” The company also promised it “will continue to redefine visual experiences across industries.”
