Capcom has released Resident Evil 4 Remake on iOS, iPadOS, and MacOS. You can download the game for free from the App Store on a compatible iPhone, iPad, or Mac device. However, once you download the title, you can play only a limited part of the base game for free. To play the full game, you will have to make an in-app purchase. Speaking of which, the developer is offering 50% off on the purchase of the full game, bringing down the price from $59.99 to $29.99. This offer is valid till January 12, 2024.

Resident Evil 4 first arrived on PS4, PS5, Windows, and Xbox Series X|S, in March 2023. The game has received excellent reviews and it is currently one of the hottest titles in the market. In September this year, Apple launched the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The company touted that the Apple A17 Pro SoC in these smartphones has a very powerful GPU and can run console titles. This is also when the tech giant announced that Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 are arriving for these devices.

A month after the announcement, Capcom released Resident Evil Village on Apple’s smartphones, tablets, and PCs, and now, Resident Evil 4 is finally here for these devices. Since Resident Evil 4 is a very graphics-intensive game, only a few devices from Apple can run it. You can check out the complete list of devices compatible with the game on Capcom’s website. Spoiler alert, it will not run on any iPhone model except for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any iPad and Mac device without an M-series chipset.
