Pocket Casts, one of the most popular podcast platforms, is now available on the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 5. Automattic Inc, the company that owns the podcast platform, has announced the release of the Pocket Casts app for Wear OS. This app allows you to play podcasts right from your Galaxy Watch to your Galaxy Buds, eliminating the need for a smartphone. That means you can now leave your phone behind when you are going for a walk or a run and still listen to your favorite podcasts.
The Pocket Casts app for Wear OS allows you to download podcasts directly on your Galaxy Watch. The ability to do so enables people to listen to podcasts on the go, even if their smartwatch lacks cellular connectivity. You can archive/unarchive, star/unstar, mark/unmark a podcast, or add an episode to the queue with this app. It also offers playback effects, allowing you to change the playback speed, trim excess silence, and switch on the Volume Boost mode, which makes voices sound louder so that you can hear them.
There are three ways to install Pocket Casts on your Galaxy Watch. The easiest method is to go to Google Play Store on your Galaxy Watch, search for Pocket Casts, and tap the Install button. The second way is to install the app via your phone. For that, go to Play Store on your phone, search for Pocket Casts, find your Galaxy Watch in the list of available devices, and tap Install.
Lastly, you can install the app via a web browser. For that, go to the Play Store page, search for the app, select your Galaxy Watch, and click Install.
