Samsung is rolling out PENUP version 3.9.11.38 through the Galaxy Store and Play Store. The official changelog briefly highlights the latest features added through this update, including a photo reference tool, a timelapse tool, canvas size settings, and more.
With this latest version, upon starting a new drawing, PENUP gives users the option to select a canvas size from a list of preset options or create a custom canvas.
Once the canvas is created, users now have a new powerful tool for photo referencing. Tapping the pin-shaped button in the taskbar brings up a new pop-up window. This window, which can be moved freely around the screen, can be loaded up with custom photos to use as a reference for your drawing.
Furthermore, PENUP finally has a “Circle” option for the cropping tool, in addition to Lasso and Rectangle. And the app boasts a more complex and featureful screen for saving images (as PNG or JPG).
Moving on to the final few new features PENUP got through update 3.9.11.38, the drawing app now boasts a timelapse tool. With it, users can record their drawing sessions and save them as mp4 video files. And last but not least, each brush can now remember color options individually. Better yet, this new feature is optional and can be disabled in the app's drawing settings.
Samsung PENUP is available through the Galaxy Store and the Google Play Store. You can use the links if you want to download the latest version. It's available even for Galaxy devices that don't support the S Pen, although Samsung's precise input device can be a game changer and offer a richer, better experience.
