At the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, the medal ceremony was celebrated with Victory Selfie, where winners took a selfie with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 6 Olympic Edition. Now, the winners of the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in Paris are also capturing their medal-winning moments with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 Olympic Edition.

Samsung has announced that in collaboration with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), the South Korean tech giant has “introduced a new take on the fan favorite Victory Selfie for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games to give Paralympians a chance to share their own epic memories with fans around the world.”

It further adds “To ensure the best experience for athletes, the moment took place in a more intimate setting in the Mixed Zone at select competitions including Para Taekwondo, Para Athletics and more.” The pictures taken by athletes were automatically uploaded to Athlete365 so that they could share them with everyone.

Earlier, Samsung distributed around 5,000 units of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 Olympic Edition to the Patalympians, just like it distributed 17,000 units of the smartphone to the Olympians.
