Samsung recently released the beta version of One UI 9 for the Galaxy S26 series, and the list of user-facing changes is extremely small compared to One UI 8.5. However, we've found one minor improvement that brings all your calls, both audio and video, into one place.
The stock dialer app, Samsung Phone, can now display calls from third-party apps like Google Meet and WhatsApp. This feature is based on a new capability Google introduced with Android 17. Since One UI 9 is based on Android 17, it brings third-party call log integration to Galaxy phones. Currently, the feature appears to be compatible with Google Meet and WhatsApp, while Telegram does not yet support it.

This feature is enabled by default. However, as you can see in the screenshots below, you can disable third-party call log integration if you prefer not to have those calls appear in the stock dialer app. To enable or disable this feature, follow the steps below.

Google showcased this feature a few months ago when it released the first Android 17 beta update. All devices running Android 17 are expected to support it, and more third-party calling apps could adopt the feature in the future as Android 17 becomes more widely available.
