Yesterday, Samsung released One UI 9.0 (Android 17) for the Galaxy Tab S10+, Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+. Now, the brand is rolling out the new software to the only other device in the lineup, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite.
As usual, the company is offering the update first in its home country, South Korea. It has a size of 2,803.90MB and carries firmware version X400XXU8DZJ6 (via Tarun Vats). The tech giant should release it in other countries soon. You can get it by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
One UI 9.0 brings a bunch of new features to the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. For starters, it offers you more options to customize the Quick Panel. You get a Warranty and care section in Settings, as well as a location privacy indicator. It also provides you with enhancements to Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes, Samsung Health, and accessibility features.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite with One UI 7.0 (Android 15) and promised to offer it seven major OS upgrades. With the latest update, the brand has offered two major OS upgrades. That means the tablet will get five more major OS upgrades and is eligible for One UI 9.5 as well as One UI 10.0.
