Samsung has released the One UI 8.0 update for the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. This mid-range tablet was launched a few months ago with Android 15 and One UI 7.0 onboard and has now received a new Android OS update. It will get six additional Android OS updates in the future.
The Android 16-based One UI 8.0 update has been released for the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite in South Korea. Samsung announced the release of the update in its home country South Korea via the Samsung Members app. You can see the announcement in the screenshot below.
This is the first major Android OS update for the tablet and it comes with the September 2025 security patch. Now that the update has been released in Korea, it could be released in other countries after a week or two.
If you have a Galaxy Tab S10 Lite and live in South Korea, you should check for the update right away. You can do that by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update is found and downloaded completely, tap the Install now button. The device will then restart after a few minutes.
One UI 8 brings a new design to Samsung Internet, Quick Share, and Weather apps. It also brings improved security for Secure Folder and improved Samsung DeX. It also introduced more actions and routines to the Modes and Routines app. You can read the complete changelog by clicking here.
