One UI 3.0 may be just around the corner but that's not to say One UI 2.5 has been abandoned. On the contrary, Samsung continues to bring One UI 2.5 to more phones and the latest two additions to the family are the Galaxy A31 and the Galaxy M51.

The Galaxy A31 is seemingly receiving the One UI 2.5 firmware update in South Korea. The update carries firmware version A315NKSU1BTK2 and it weighs around 961MB. Meanwhile, the Galaxy M51 is getting One UI 2.5 through firmware version M515FXXU1BTK4. As of this writing the One UI 2.5 update for the Galaxy M51 is limited to a few markets including Russia, Egypt, Iraq, and Ukraine. Both updates include the November 2020 security patch that was detailed by Samsung a month ago.

The Galaxy A31 and Galaxy M51 were released less than half a year ago running One UI 2.1, making the latest One UI 2.5 release the biggest yet. But if you own one of these phones and you haven't received the update notification yet, sit tight as availability will continue to expand to more markets. You can check for the update by opening Settings on your phone, accessing Software updates and tapping Download and install. Alternatively, you can refer to our firmware archive where you can browse for and download the firmware manually.

Update: The latest firmware for the Galaxy M51 is also rolling out in India right now but there aren't too many features to discuss. There's no option to select the duration of Single Take and no new Wi-Fi indicators.
