Fourteen static wallpapers for the Galaxy A53 have leaked, along with a live wallpaper, which you can preview in the YouTube video below. The images present colorful geometric and organic shapes alike, and the live wallpaper has the familiar flowing sand animation Samsung's been using for a few years now.
The Galaxy A5x is one of Samsung's most successful smartphone series, and leaked data shows that the Galaxy A53 should live up to expectations.
Samsung's upcoming mid-range hero device should use the Exynos 1280 chipset –which may be an Exynos 1200 SoC renamed — and boast a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The device is rumored to be capable of 8K @24fps video recording. It should feature a 64MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, and two 5MP sensors (depth and macro).
Samsung may release the Galaxy A53 later this month, and until then, you can enjoy the official wallpapers in the gallery below. Exact pricing details are unknown, but the company will probably want the Galaxy A53 to be very competitive, so we may soon have a new Galaxy-branded value-for-money king on the market.
The Galaxy A52 — and especially the A52s — impressed us last year, and we're eager to review the upcoming Galaxy A53 and share our experiences with you, so stay tuned.
