Last month, Samsung unveiled its latest Android customisation for Galaxy phones, One UI 9.0 (Android 17), and released its beta version for the Galaxy S26. Since then, the brand has been releasing updates to its apps for these devices to make them compatible with the new software.
That includes Good Lock’s modules. As of last week, there were only four plugins awaiting support for the new skin. That number has now dropped to three, as QuickStar has joined the list of compatible modules with a new update, which brings new features as well. Let’s check it out.
Samsung has released an update for Good Lock’s QuickStar. It carries version 11.0.03.15. According to the changelog, it brings four changes. First “Official support for One UI 9.0.” Second, it offer, you get “Improved weather format options.” Third, it adds “network speed icon display.” Fourth, the app lets you “disable Ongoing Chip (active app status indicator).”
At the moment, the company is rolling it out to devices running on One UI 9.0, which, at the moment, are only the Galaxy S26 series devices. You can get the update by opening Good Lock > Plugins, searching for QuickStar and tapping on the update icon beside it. After the update gets installed, the app will no longer appear greyed out on devices running the new software.
