Netflix to have 86 games by year’s end, 90 more in development

In 2021, Netflix introduced games on its platform. Back then, the video streaming service offered only five titles. However, the collection has grown rapidly over the past two years, and at the moment, there are 77 games on Netflix, giving people plenty of options to choose from. Well, that number is soon going to get a significant boost.

Netflix has announced that it will offer 86 games on the video streaming platform by the end of this year. The company also says that there are around 90 more games in development. When the company releases those games, there will be 176 games on Netflix. According to it, these titles will be offered as a part of the Netflix membership “without ads, in-app purchases or extra fees.” The company has also revealed the names of a few upcoming games on the platform. Last month, Netflix announced that it is bringing Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition from Rockstar Games to the video streaming platform on Android and iOS. In August this year, the company introduced games on TVs and the web in Canada and the UK. Almost month later, Netflix made games on TVs and the web available in the US as well. With consistent development and announcements around games, it looks like Netflix is taking gaming very seriously.
