For a quick recap, in case you missed the previous rumors, One UI 7.0 might embrace a number of drastic changes, including new UI elements, animations, menus, settings, and redesigned first-party app icons.
A couple of icon designs for the Camera and Gallery apps have emerged in the past few days. Now, we can add Samsung Internet and the native Phone app to the list. The alleged icon design of these well-known Samsung apps has leaked on X (via @chunvn8888).
Blurry as they are, these screenshots reveal pretty clearly that the Samsung Internet app icon did a 90-degree spin and borrowed more colorful nuances of blue with mild gradients. The Phone app icon also looks slightly fuller, almost like a pill.
Given all the screenshots that have emerged up to this point, it almost looks like Samsung is moving away from Google's Material Design principles. At least slightly, and as far as app icons are concerned. This might be a welcomed change, considering that One UI already gives users the option to turn (almost) all their app icons into monochromatic flat representations of themselves.
These leaked icon designs seem to share the same principles in that they are more colorful instead of monochromatic, and in some cases, they don't look as flat as the current Samsung icon set. Some icons, like the two above, have color gradients, which almost adds a third dimension. Very unlike Material Design.

Update: Three more app icons for Contacts, Settings, and Clock, have leaked via the same source. You can check them out in the screenshots below.

Other alleged features pertaining to One UI 7.0 include a new menu with extra customization options for the home screen and something similar to Live Activities in iOS. More specifically, Samsung could display extra bits of information through the same pill-shaped area Galaxy phone users can see on the status bar during phone calls (via @UniverseIce).
Once again, we have to stress that even if these leaked app icons are legitimate, there's no guarantee that things won't change by the time One UI 7.0 goes public. The beta program could go live next month, and we will cover everything you'll need to know about the firmware and participating in the beta program.
