Make your Galaxy Watch say whatever you want in any language

Samsung's Galaxy Watch lets you quickly reply to messages using a feature called “Message suggestions.” These suggestions are not available in every language, however, the Galaxy Watch also lets you create any custom responses you want.

Message suggestions are available on your Galaxy Watch 5 when your connected phone is set to one of several languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.

In addition to Message suggestions, the Galaxy Watch 5 comes with 16 custom responses, which can be selected from a list when you type messages on the smartwatch. But the best thing about custom responses is that they aren't bound to the clever — yet limited by language — Message suggestions feature. You can create your own custom responses in any language you want.

How to create custom responses on your Galaxy Watch

Custom responses can be created on your connected phone via the Galaxy Wearable app. So, you can access and customize this feature in one of two ways:

    • You can open the Settings app on your Galaxy Watch and access “General,” tap “Input,” followed by “Quick responses” and “Custom responses.” You will then be redirected to continue the setup on your connected phone.
    • Or you can open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone, go to “Watch settings,” access “General,” and tap “Quick responses.”

You should now see a list of 16 custom responses on your phone, premade by Samsung. To create your own custom response, scroll down to the bottom of the list and tap the “+” icon. Then, write your custom response and tap “Save.”

Optionally, you can rearrange the order in which custom responses appear on your smartwatch by tapping the “Edit” button located under the “Custom responses” toggle.
