March 2024 update now live for Galaxy A52 5G in the USA

While Samsung's mid-range phones aren't getting the One UI 6.1 update just yet, the company has made sure it is keeping those devices up to speed with the latest security patches. The Galaxy A52 5G is one of those mid-range devices that has received the March 2024 security update.

Galaxy A52 5G gets March 2024 update in the USA

The new security update for the Galaxy A52 5G is now available for the carrier-locked units in the USA. The update comes bearing firmware version A526USQSCFXC8 and is now available on Metro PCS, Sprint, and T-Mobile networks in the country. It brings the March 2024 security update that fixes 44 security vulnerabilities discovered in the previous software versions.

If you have the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy A52 5G and live in the US, you can check for the new update on your device right now. You can check it by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

The Galaxy A52 5G was launched in 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The device received the Android 12 update later that year and the Android 13 update in late 2022. Samsung released the Android 14 update to the Galaxy A52 5G late last year, and it was the phone's last major Android OS update.
