Samsung won't charge extra but will sell the Flip 7 cheaper!

After having a bit of a scare due to a recent price leak originating from third-party retailers in Europe, we're back on track with some positive news for future Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 buyers.
WinFuture sources say that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will most likely retain its price in Europe compared to the 2024 model, whereas the Galaxy Z Flip 7 should be cheaper than the Flip 6 at launch. If true, it's highly unexpected and spells even more potential good news for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
The latest report says that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 should cost the same as the Z Fold 6 at launch, i.e., €1,999 for 256GB, €2,119 for 512GB, and €2,359 for 1TB.
Even better, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will supposedly launch for a lower price than the Z Flip 6. The report states that the 256GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 in Europe will undercut its predecessor by €100 and hit the shelves for €1,099 instead of €1,199. Meanwhile, the 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 variant should cost €1,219 instead of €1,319.
This is fantastic news, especially since Samsung plans to release a Fan Edition Galaxy Z Flip 7, too. Although Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE prices weren't mentioned in this latest WinFuture leak, it looks like Samsung won't do the unthinkable.
In other words, Samsung won't increase the standard Z Flip 7's price only to sell the Flip 7 FE for last year's €1,199 entry-level price. Such a strategy would have truly been cheap, figuratively speaking, and not in a good way.
This rumor seems solid, but as a precaution, do keep in mind that nothing is truly official until Samsung says it is. However, if you are looking forward to the upcoming foldable phones, you can already reserve your Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 through Samsung's website and benefit from early bonuses upon pre-ordering next month. Reserving now won't cost you anything.
