Latest Galaxy Buds update improves streaming and phone call quality

You’d certainly want to get the latest Galaxy Buds update that Samsung has rolled out today. Samsung has been releasing substantial updates for the Galaxy Buds almost every month. The previous one improved the stability of the Bluetooth connection.

Samsung is sending out a couple of improvements for the Galaxy Buds with the latest update as well. It can be downloaded using the Galaxy Wearable app on a paired device. The dedicated PC tool can also be used to update the firmware.

Music streaming quality improves with latest Galaxy Buds update

Samsung is rolling out firmware version R170XXU0ASF3 for the Galaxy Buds today. The update weighs in at just over 1MB. The changelog mentions that this update improves music streaming and phone call quality. Some users have complained about the phone call quality particularly. They will be hoping that this update addresses their concerns.

A temporary error which occurred when the Ambient Sound mode was activated has also been resolved. This update also modifies the battery level display to show the lower battery level between the two earbuds.

Pair the Galaxy Buds to your smartphone and then launch the Galaxy Wearable app. It will notify you automatically that an update is available. Those who’d rather do this on their PC can use the Galaxy Buds Manager program available for both Windows and Mac.

Even after the update, I constantly have problems with BT connection. It is enough to have the phone in your pocket. Please, do something with the BT connection. It’s not normal. Some obstacle between the headphones and the phone (eg hand, foot, etc.) and the connection is bad.

I just download it yesterday but I didn’t test until today.
I’m in airport and I called my wife and she said there much improvement.

I think it needs more call test to verify the improvement.

What still disturbs me is the fact that as soon as something comes between buds and mobile phone, the connection rushes strongly and breaks off. For example, if I’m standing at a traffic light and my arms are covering my phone (which is in my pocket), it’s a big nuisance to the signal. And this phenomenon has only occurred to me with the buds and Samsung can’t get the problem under control.

I got the update and I have successfully downloaded it but it’s not installing please what should I do , is it because my battery percentage is 3 percent. What should I do

I just updated, and won’t be able to really test for real improvements until if go out for a run with them, but I can now place my S10+ in my back left pants pocket and the audio have cut it yet…. (I spent another hour chatting with sorry yesterday morning for the continuing problem with connection issues! I have to on call quality a long time ago – I don’t know how, or believe, a soft/firmware update can improve the call quality enough to make the feature usable. What you write now I have tried and normally everything works. Music goes nothing falls so there is only a problem with you.

That is certainly a possibility, but then Samsung should replace my Boss work a new pair – have they done that?? NO.
They continuously try troubleshooting steps. I am tried of doing these steps and e want a working and reliable set of buds ASAP or I want a refund (I purchased them from Samsung directly) and they won’t offer me a refund because I it is beyond their return window

This might be the worst review of Buds I’ve ever found on the web. Might be that it’s an isolating problem with your unit? Have you tried warranty?

Of course I have tried.. I have spoke with Samsung half a dozen times and chatted with a tech on at least another 5 occasions.

The issue happens with both my S10+ and Watch Active
This only happens when my devices are in close proximity to over another. I can listen to music from my phone in the other room 20 feet away with a partial wall obstruction with a closet between me and the devices.
I only have this issue when both devices are on our best my body.

As the friends that I tried this update with say….my voice is much clear now. This update really improves the quality of voice calls and stability of connectivity
