Samsung introduced a major new feature to the Galaxy S26 series this week. Quick Share on these devices is now compatible with Apple’s AirDrop system, making it easier to share files wirelessly with iPads, iPhones, and Macs. So, how do you use it?
Let’s take a look.
To send files wirelessly from your Galaxy phone to an iPad, iPhone, or Mac, follow the steps below. This feature currently works only on Galaxy devices that support AirDrop compatibility through Quick Share.

Currently, this AirDrop and Quick Share compatibility is available only on the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra that have received the second March 2026 update with the February 2026 security patch. You should also ensure that Quick Share is updated to the latest version via the Galaxy Store and that the latest Google Play system update is installed.
Samsung has announced that it will bring this feature to more Galaxy devices in the future, but an official timeline has not been announced.
