Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 5 remains the most premium foldable phone on the market. It may lack the kind of Galaxy AI features the Galaxy S24 has until the One UI 6.1 update arrives, but it's still one of the two best choices you can make in terms of foldable mobile tech (the other choice being the Z Flip 5).

Here's some good news if you're in the market for the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Samsung has just slashed $200 off the 256GB and 512GB models for a limited time.

This means you can now buy the Galaxy Z Fold 5 for as low as $1,599 instead of $1,799 without a trade-in. Or you can buy the foldable flagship for $66.67 a month instead of $75.01 a month through Samsung Financing (where available).

You could also get the 512GB Galaxy Z Fold 5 for $1,719 instead of $1,919 outright or $71.67 per month on a 24-month plan. On the other hand, the 1TB variant retains its full price of $2,159.

Grab the Galaxy Z Fold 5 for as low as $799

Assuming you want to exchange another phone for a bigger discount on the Galaxy Z Fold 5, you can save as much as $800 when trading in.

On top of the flat $200 discount mentioned above, you can save $800 when exchanging the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Fold 4, or Galaxy S23 Ultra, for a total of $1,000.

In other words, you could buy the 256GB Galaxy Z Fold 5 for as low as $799 outright or for just $33.34  per month through Samsung Financing.
