Although Samsung's latest release doesn't bring extensive changes compared to what we got before, it tightens up the UI in anticipation of the final release. A few bugs that came to light in the previous beta updates are supposed to be gone, and ads in first-party apps also seem to have disappeared for good.
Aside from the less obvious changes, One UI 4.0 beta 3 features a redesigned Weather app. It's more animated, adorned with stylized graphics that change depending on the weather and the time of day. And most Samsung icons can now share a single color.
The changelog for the new Android 12-based beta update also seems to be hinting at the final One UI 4.0 update going live soon — hopefully by the end of November.
If you don't feel like joining the beta program but want to have a quick look at the third update, or you want to keep busy while you're updating your Galaxy S21 to the new beta build, check our One UI 4.0 hands-on video below, and feel free to join us on social media groups.
