At CES 2024, Gigabyte unveiled five gaming monitors with Samsung Display’s Quantum Dot OLED (QD-OLED) panels. One of them was the AORUS FO27Q3. Now, the company has launched a more affordable variant of that monitor, the AORUS FO27Q2.
The AORUS FO27Q2 uses Samsung Display’s 27-inch QD-OLED panel with a 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution, just like the AORUS FO27Q3. However, there is one difference between the two monitors. While the AORUS FO27Q3 features a 360Hz refresh rate, the AORUS FO27Q2 has a 240Hz refresh rate.
The story continues after the video…
The remaining features of the two monitors are the same, including 0.03ms response time, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, VESA DisplayHDR 400, HDMI 2.1 port, DisplayPort 1.4 port, USB Type-C port, 2x USB Type-A ports, KVM switch, a stand with height tilt, swivel and pivot adjustment, and a 3-year warranty.
Gigabyte has neither revealed the price nor the availability details of the AORUS FO27Q2. For your reference, the AORUS FO27Q3 costs USD 799. With the AORUS FO27Q2 featuring a lower refresh rate, expect it to cost USD 50 to USD 100 less than the other model.
