Google is rolling out Gemini's recently announced Scheduled Actions feature on Android. Here is what it does and how to use it.

Earlier this month, Google announced that it is upgrading Gemini with a feature called Scheduled Actions. It can run a command at a specified date, day, and time, or make a prompt a recurring action, allowing you to “plan ahead for future.” Well, the brand has started rolling out the feature on Android, iOS, and the web.
To use Gemini’s Scheduled Actions feature on your Galaxy phone or tablet, open Gemini and ask it to perform an action on a specific date, day, and time, and the GenAI assistant will create a Scheduled Action for it. For example, you can ask it to send you news about cars every day at 06:00 AM, and it will do that for you.
You can find Scheduled Actions by tapping on the profile icon and selecting ‘Scheduled Actions.‘ The page will also allow you to pause, resume, and delete an action. The web version of Gemini also gives you options to rename a Scheduled Action, change its instructions, and modify its schedule (set it to daily, weekly, or monthly).
Unfortunately, Google is offering this feature only to people who pay for Gemini’s AI Pro and AI Ultra subscriptions, and not to free users. It is also worth mentioning that Scheduled Actions works with Samsung's apps, including Samsung Reminders, as you can see in the screenshot above. However, the scheduled actions set with Samsung apps don't appear in the Gemini's Scheduled Actions section.
