Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7
A few days ago, Samsung released the August 2026 security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 7. However, the brand had made it available only in its home country, South Korea. Now, the company has started rolling out the latest security update in more countries, with India being one of the first to get it.
The latest update for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in India is 553.58MB in size and carries firmware version F966BXXSCBZH3 (via Tarun Vats). The August 2026 security patch fixes 56 security issues present in the previous firmware, making the phone more secure. The tech giant should release it to more regions soon.
To check the availability of the latest Galaxy Z Fold 7 update, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. On a related note, the phone is expected to get a major software update soon that will bring One UI 9.0, Samsung’s latest custom Android interface.
As opposed to One UI 8.5 that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is currently running, the new software offers more UI customization options as well as many new features for convenience and productivity. You can check out its biggest features in our video below.
