Yesterday, Samsung released the May 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 5. However, it had made the latest security update available only for the international variant of the device in India. Now, the company is expanding the May 2024 security patch to the carrier-unlocked variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the United States.
The new software update carries the firmware version F946U1UES3CXE3. The May 2024 security patch fixes a total of 45 security issues. At the moment, the update is live on multiple networks, including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

Your Galaxy Z Fold 5 will show you a notification when Samsung pushes the latest security update to your device. If it doesn’t, you can check for the new firmware manually from Settings » Software update » Download and install. It’s also available in our firmware section for you to download and install manually.
