While Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in the US with a starting price of $1,799, the foldable is nowadays retailing for just $1,399. This is an excellent price for a device that offers so many things. Best Buy, however, is offering the Galaxy Z Fold 4 for an even lower price. The retailer has listed the base variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 for just $1,299, which is flat $100 off on the usual selling price, and that makes it an absolute steal for the money.

However, this amazing deal comes with one condition. According to Best Buy, if you want to get the Galaxy Z Fold 4 for $1,299, you have to activate a new line today, which means although the device is unlocked, you have to link it to a carrier before you purchase. If you want to activate it on AT&T, Google Fi, Sprint, T-Mobile, or Verizon, you are in luck, because those are the carrier options that Best Buy offers. But if you want to use the phone with other carriers, you are out of luck.

There is, however, an even bigger deal going on with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 at Best Buy. You can get the latest foldable at just $1,199 from the retailer. However, the deal not only requires you to activate the device today, but you also have to get it on a new line or a new account, which, many people won’t be comfortable with. But nonetheless, it’s good to see that you can get the best foldable smartphone in the market for almost the same price as non-foldable flagships.

Samsung has also started taking pre-reservations for the Galaxy S23. The phone is launching on February 1, but you can pre-reserve it today to get a $50 in-store Samsung credit.
