Samsung’s next flagship smartphone with a clamshell foldable display, the Galaxy Z Flip 8, is expected to feature either the in-house developed Exynos 2600 or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, depending on the region.
A previous leak on the matter claimed that it will come with the Snapdragon SoC in the brand’s home market, South Korea. Now, we have a report on which processor it will offer in China and the US, and it may put a smile on your face.
According to a popular tipster, Ice Universe, in China and the United States, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. Many people consider Qualcomm’s chips to perform better than those from Samsung. Such people may find the latest news welcoming.
The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to feature a 4.1-inch OLED cover display with 1,048 x 940 pixels resolution and a 6.9-inch OLED inner (foldable) screen with QHD+ resolution. It is said to feature the same camera setup and battery capacity as its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
