Earlier today, we got to see the European Union’s Energy label for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7, which revealed its battery, durability, and repairability details. Now, the EU's Energy label for the other two phones that the brand is going to launch alongside it, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, have surfaced online.
YTechB has revealed the European Union’s Energy label for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. According to it, both phones have an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance, a Class A rating for free fall reliability (how durable it is against drops), and a Class C rating for repairability. Both phones have Class B energy efficiency.
While the former is rated to last 42 hours and 4 minutes on a single charge, the latter will last 37 hours on a single charge. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will retain at least 80% of its rated capacity till 2,000 charge cycles, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will retain at least 80% of its rated capacity till 1,700 charge cycles. It means that the latter will not only have a smaller battery but its quality will also be a grade below.
Despite featuring a clamshell form factor with complex hinges and foldable displays, both phones have a Class A rating for free-fall reliability and a Class C rating for repairability, which is very impressive. The leaks we have had about these devices have revealed their design, specifications, and price, leaving very little to the imagination. If you are planning to get these phones, reserving them will get you many benefits.
