Yesterday, Samsung started rolling out the July 2026 security patch to its smartwatches. Initially, the brand offered it to the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 7 lineups, making them the first devices from the company to get it. Now, the company has released the latest security patch for the Galaxy Watch 6 series as well.
From what we could gather, Samsung is rolling out the July 2026 security patch to the non-cellular (Wi-Fi-only) as well as cellular (4G/LTE + WiFi) variants of the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic globally. The updates for all the variants have a size of around 150MB. You can check out their firmware versions below.
The July 2026 security patch fixes a total of 51 security issues, which you can read more about here. To get the latest firmware for your Galaxy Watch, open the Galaxy Wearable app and go to Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install.
