The Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra have started getting a new software update in Europe. It brings the February 2025 security patch that fixes several security loopholes found in the previous software version. It doesn't look like it brings any performance enhancements or new features.
The firmware version of the new software for each tablet in the lineup is listed below.
In the next couple of months, Samsung will likely release the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update. It will bring a major UI redesign featuring smoother animations and transitions. It could also introduce new Galaxy AI features.

If you have a Galaxy Tab S9 series device and live in Europe, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
