If you are a Galaxy Tab S7 user, there’s some good news for you today. Samsung has started rolling out a new software update to the tablet and it offers the August 2024 security patch, which contains fixes for 50 security issues to make your device safer.
Currently, Samsung is seeding the latest security update to the international 4G LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab S7 (SM-T875). To get the new firmware, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download it from our firmware section.
The story continues after the video…
After installing the latest update, the firmware version of your phone will change to T875XXS8DXH1. Going by the changelog, the new software update unfortunately doesn’t offer any new features, performance improvements, or bug fixes.
In the future too, Samsung will not offer any new features to the Galaxy Tab S7 as it will not release major OS upgrades to the device. That’s because the company has already fulfilled the promise of offering three new versions of Android.
