Samsung’s last year’s flagship tablets, the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, are the newest and the most premium tablets eligible for One UI 8.0 (Android 16). Owing to that, these were the first tablets to which the brand released the update. However, the tech giant had offered it only in Korea. Now, it is expanding the update internationally.
Samsung is rolling out the Galaxy Tab S10 series’ One UI 8 update in India, the UK, and the US (via 1, 2, 3). The update is live for cellular (Wi-Fi + 5G), as well as non-cellular (Wi-Fi-only) variants of the two tablets. The firmware version of the update for the Galaxy Tab S10+ is X82xBXXU4CYI5, whereas that for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is X92xBXXU4CYI5.
To get the update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. One UI 8 offers a new design and more features for DeX, Quick Panel, Now Bar, and Now Brief, as well as brings revamped Alarm, Calendar, Drawing Assist, Gallery, Quick Share, My Files, Notes, Reminder, Samsung Internet, and Weather apps, which offer a new design and more features too. You can check them out in our video below.
Speaking of updates, Samsung is developing One UI 8.5. While it is based on Android 16, the same as One UI 8.0, it offers a newer UI as well as more features. As you might expect, the Galaxy Tab S10 and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra are eligible to get it. The South Korean tech giant is expected to debut it with the Galaxy S26 series in February next year. We expect the brand to start rolling it out to eligible devices soon after that.
