Since this morning, Samsung has released the stable version of One UI 8.5 to many devices, and now, the brand is rolling it out to one more, the Galaxy Tab Active 5, giving the tablet a fresh breath of life with a new user interface and many new features.
Usually, Samsung releases a new firmware for a device first in its home market, South Korea, and it is no different this time. Currently, the brand is offering it to the cellular (5G) variant of the tablet. It comes with firmware version X306NKOUADZE4.
The company should start offering it in other regions in the next few days. To check if the tech giant has made it available in your region, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
On a related note, Samsung recently unveiled an even newer Android customisation for Galaxy smartphones, One UI 9.0. You can check out the changes and upgrades it offers in our video below.

My journalism career kicked off in 2017 with MySmartPrice where I wrote news, features, buying guides, and explanatory articles about technology among other things, and reviewed many products, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, PC components, smartwatches, audio devices, wearables, and smart home products. Since then, I have worked for 91Mobiles, Apple, and Onsitego, before finally landing on SamMobile.
