Galaxy S25 Ultra running One UI 8.5
Last week, Samsung released the stable version of One UI 9.0 (Android 17) to the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, the brand made it available only in its home country, South Korea.
Now, the company has started rolling out the stable One UI 9.0 update for the three Galaxy S25 series smartphones in more countries, with the US being one of the first to get it (via @Alfaturk16).
The update is currently available for the carrier-locked variants of the phone. The one for the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a size of 3,867.15MB and carries firmware version S938USQUCDZIF. The update for the other two phones should also be similar in size and carry firmware versions ending with DZIF.
Compared to One UI 8.5, One UI 9.0 offers more customization options for Quick Panel, upgraded Samsung DeX and Samsung Notes, and enhancements to accessibility features. You can watch the biggest changes in action in our video below.
