Samsung’s latest non-foldable flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra, are arguably the best high-end Android smartphones on the market. That’s especially true in the brand’s home country, South Korea, where most Chinese smartphone makers have no presence. Well, these two factors have resulted in record-breaking sales figures of the lineup.
Samsung has announced that it has sold more than two million units of the Galaxy S25 series phones in South Korea (via Chosun). The lineup has achieved this sales milestone almost two weeks earlier than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 series. It suggests that people liked this year’s flagship phones more than last year’s. However, that’s not the only reason for record-breaking sales.
According to Samsung, the New Galaxy AI Subscription Club, a paid subscription service that offers people benefits when upgrading to a new device, has also contributed to higher sales of the devices. This plan has attracted young people, who consistently upgrade to newer devices, to purchase the Galaxy S25 series device.
However, the latest phone in the lineup, the Galaxy S25 Edge, may not sell as well as the other three devices in the series, as various experts are reporting that the phone has a poor battery life as a result of a small battery pack. Hopefully, Samsung will fix it with a software update and save the Galaxy S25 lineup’s reputation from falling.
