However, Edge no longer means what it used to. Here it signifies an impressively thin design rather than a curved screen. What sacrifices is Samsung making to achieve the thin design? Importantly, what about the cameras?
Earlier rumors claimed that the Galaxy S25 Edge will have a triple-camera setup. However, it is clear after the Galaxy Unpacked event that the Galaxy S25 Edge only has a dual-camera setup. While Samsung hasn't clarified the phone's camera specifications, it is rumored that the phone could have a 200MP primary camera and a 50MP or 12MP ultrawide camera.
It will likely lack a telephoto (zoom) camera, especially considering that most modern phones with a dual-camera setup, including those from Samsung, lack a telephoto camera. If cameras are important to you, you would be better off with the Galaxy S25 or the Galaxy S25+.

The Galaxy S25 Edge also has a front-facing camera inside a punch-hole display cutout. Considering that all Galaxy S25 series phones have a 12MP selfie camera, we expect the Galaxy S25 Edge to have a 12MP front-facing camera as well.
All cameras on the phone will likely offer 4K 60fps video recording, while its primary camera could have 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps video recording abilities.
The phone likely features the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (likely a 7-core CPU version). So, expect the phone to offer better camera quality than the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ from its primary, ultrawide, and selfie cameras, thanks to the new ProVisual Engine.
