It has been revealed that the Galaxy S25 series features a Car Crash Detection sensor. This information was revealed by digging through the code in some leaked Galaxy S25 files. This is the same sensor found in the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.
However, it isn't clear if Samsung has enabled Android's Car Crash Detection feature on the software level. Despite featuring the same sensor, the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 don't have the Car Crash Detection feature active.
Android's Car Crash Detection feature uses a dedicated motion sensor and AI to detect if you (or your phone) have been involved in a crash. Google introduced the Car Crash Detection feature with the Pixel 8 series in 2023. Apple has a similar feature, and it is available on the iPhone 14 (or newer models).

Samsung hasn't enabled the feature yet, even though it has the required feature and a hidden system app for it. It is possible that Samsung is still working on the feature, and it could enable Car Crash Detection with the stable One UI 7.0 update on select phones.
