It has been a couple of months since the launch of the Galaxy S25, and Samsung has introduced additional enhancements to its new devices with software updates. And the next update for the Galaxy S25 series will bring additional enhancements and not just be a regular security patch.
The next software update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will bring additional One UI 7.0 improvements, including a smoother charging animation and the Now Bar animation for the media player in the status bar. This information comes from tipster @tarunvats33. The update could also bring more enhancements to the animations and transitions.
Samsung introduced a brand-new charging animation in the status bar and the lock screen with One UI 7.0. However, it wasn't as smooth as it should be on the Galaxy S25 series. Improvements to it were added with the latest One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S24, and you learn more about it in our video below.
The battery charging animation on the current software version on Galaxy S25 appears a bit choppy, but the next update will reportedly improve it. The tipster claims the update will also fix bugs related to Location and Mobile Data quick setting toggles in the Quick Panel.
The April 2025 security patch has already arrived on the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 participating in the One UI 7.0 Beta Program, and it will be released soon for the Galaxy S25 series.
