Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
Samsung, after rolling out the August 2026 security patch to the Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S25 series, is now rolling it out to the Galaxy S24 lineup.
The update is live in the brand’s home country, South Korea. It is 416.16MB in size and carries firmware version S928NKSS6DZH2 (via Samsung Community).
The August 2026 security patch addresses 56 security issues present in the previous firmware, making the three phones more secure than before.
We expect Samsung to release it in more regions over the next few days. To check its availability and get it, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
The Galaxy S24 series is expected to get a big software update in the next few weeks, which will bring the brand’s latest custom Android interface, One UI 9.0.
