Samsung has released a new software update to the factory-unlocked variants of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra for the United States of America. It offers the June 2025 security patch, which fixes many security issues.
The new firmware for these devices has firmware version S911U1UES6DYF3. To get it, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also head to our firmware section, download the update, and install it manually using Odin.
Initially, Samsung offered the June 2025 security update to the Korean variant of the Galaxy S23 and then to the international model in Europe. We expect the brand to expand it to other variants and regions in the next few days.
Earlier today, the first firmware with Android 16-based One UI 8.0 for the Galaxy S23 was spotted on Samsung’s server. It suggests that the brand has started testing it, and it may arrive soon. The new software brings many new features.
