Earlier this month, Samsung released the February 2024 security patch for the international variant of the Galaxy S23 FE (SM-S711B) in Asia. However, the company hadn’t made the update available in India. Fortunately, that’s changing today. Samsung has started rolling out the February 2023 security patch to the Galaxy S23 FE in India.

The latest update carries Build Number S711BXXS2BXA9. It brings the February 2024 security patch, which fixes 72 security flaws. Unfortunately, it doesn’t offer any new features, performance enhancements, or bug fixes. That being said, Samsung is expected to roll out One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy S23 FE soon, which should bring many new features that you see on the Galaxy S24 series phones, including the upgraded version of Motion Photo.

Your Galaxy S23 FE should show you a pop-up about the update. If it hasn’t you can check for it manually by going to Settings » Software updates and clicking on the Download and install button. You can also download the latest firmware from our database and install it manually using Odin. On a related note, Samsung has also rolled out the new security update to the carrier-locked and carried-unlocked variants of the smartphone in the USA.
